If you want to reset the password from console you have two ways: first you can establish the connection with DSS using PuTTY, second accessing the console directly.

When you are connected press CTRL + ALT + P.
After that you should see this window:
If you are sure that you want to apply those changes press Enter. The only data that will be changed is the DSS password and it will be the default password which is “admin”
